Hello GBCS visitor,

Welcome to "My GBCS" where you can join GBCS networks, read recent emails from various networks, and update your profile information. Joining our networks will connect you to our staff working on various issues, providing updates on legislative action and access to justice resources.

Why should I get involved?

Part of the Christian faith is to live out social holiness. Methodists have a strong history of being active on issues of social justice in the world and even within our church community. Understanding how the social principles can be applied to your life is critical to living our social holiness and bringing wholeness to individuals and the world.

How do I become involved?

GBCS offers a wide variety of ways for you to become active on issues of social justice. We provide seminars for churches and conference leaders to engage their communities on the issue that are impacting their lives. We also provide ways for you to connect with your elected officials on the state and federal level. A critical part to becoming involved is understanding the issues. Our Knowledge Center allows you to learn about the issues and take action.
