(1933-2007)

Ernie Hill, also fondly known as Ernie and Khalis Ameen to many, passed away on June 18, 2007. Ernie was on staff at GBCS for 18 years. He retired in May of 2001. His memorial was held on June 23 at the Church Center for the United Nations in New York.

On a rainy and humid day, the Ethnic Young Adult (EYA) interns walked from the United Methodist Building to the Capitol Building with a sense of excitement. They were professionally dressed and ready to meet the staff of the House Majority Whip, Congressman James E. Clyburn (D-South Carolina).
