While the most recent violence raged in Lebanon and Gaza, fifteen women leaders from several member denominations of the National Council of Churches traveled through Israel/Palestine and Jordan. Their two-week visit, which concluded May 22, focused on the plight of women and children suffering through hostilities in the Middle East.
