Males as Domestic Violence Survivors
by Linda Bales
We recognize that the majority of domestic violence is perpetrated
by men against women; however, we know that men can also be victims of
the same kind of abuse from women or other men. Studies show that women
are hesitant to admit to the abuse they are experiencing, and men are

suffer abuse and violence. We are called to be a visible witness to
care and compassion as well as a provider of referral services.

A Look at a Restorative Justice Ministry in Missouri
by Rev. Harold Johnson
For those who live inside the "razor sharp" wire atop the miles of
fences of Missouri's prisons the view is a troubling one at best. For
Missouri's 30,000 men and women confined behind these fences, their
longing is to one day be free again. The "news" is not all bad.
Throughout the nation and in Missouri there are professionals and
non-professionals; citizen advocates and activists who are determined
to "do something" to reverse these trends.
