I certainly agree with Bishop Willimon in regards to our Healthcare Delima. While my family is blessed to have good healthcare coverage, I realize that I must sacrifice to enable others to have access to good health coverage and medical treatment. My experience is that the Lord will always provide. The Lord will provide for a country who has the resources to make the sacrifices needed and a country whose Congress has the ability to formulate strong solutions to a much needed systemic problem that affects everyone. Our government must not let pride keep us from doing what is right for all its people. We are given more so that we can do more. I'm not sure expense is the problem, perhaps it is eyes, ears and hearts that must become more generous emulating Christ.
